Comic Development - No Place For A Doctor
'No Place For A Doctor' is an in-progress 24 page fantasy comic based on the origin story for one of my D&D characters. The basic story is the same, but it's been expanded and moved to an entirely original setting.
Blurb: Sam Harnendil has only ever wanted to be a doctor, but he never anticipated being conscripted as an army surgeon and thrust into the middle of a war. Struggling to keep his head above water while surrounded by more bloodshed and death than anyone should see in a lifetime, an encounter with a dying paladin changes the path of his life yet again, as he discovers that yelling at someone’s goddess for not doing her job properly can have some rather unintended consequences...
A story about medicine, magic, and the mess that war makes of people.
